40x40ft (12x12m) Double Truss Fixed Tubed End Wall

Elevate the functionality and enhance the security of a 40ft x 40ft Quality Domes Direct dome shelter with a solidly constructed and engineered end wall. This double truss end wall spans 12 meters/40 feet with a 650GSM PVC fabric that is UV-resistant, fire retardant, and mold-resistant.

This end wall unit is fully compatible with any Quality Domes Direct dome shelter kit for a 12-meter/40-foot opening. Adding this end wall significantly boosts the security of the shelter, ensuring a safe, dry and shielded environment.

The design of the end wall facilitates straightforward assembly and connects with the side of the shipping container and the roof truss arch to form a solid frame. The end wall consists of 3 double truss upright support posts with solid steel base plates. Additional support posts are connected to the double truss frames using high-tensile bolts, increasing both the robustness and the structural integrity of the shelter.  Enhanced stability and security are ensured by anchoring the base plates to the ground.

The fire-retardant properties of the end wall are crucial for compliance with Australian Standards and Workplace Health and Safety standards, providing essential safety in environments prone to the use of open flames, welding operations, or where there is the risk of open flames being used in the vacinity.

End Wall Roping & Fastening

The method for attaching the end wall PVC fabric cover to the dome shelter framework is by roping the canvas to the frame using a series of seams with flaps and eyelets, designed to ensure maximum durability and stability.

1. Roping Mechanism: The fabric cover is first attached using a heavy-duty rope that is threaded through reinforced eyelets along the edges of the PVC material. This roping technique allows for even distribution of tension across the entire surface of the end wall fabric, significantly reducing the risk of tearing under high wind loads or other environmental stresses. It also provides a flexible attachment method that can accommodate slight movements and adjustments without compromising the integrity of the seal.
2. Securing with Angle Plates: To reinforce the connection, angle plates are strategically positioned at key junctions between the fabric and the frame. These angle plates are made from high-grade galvanized steel, offering superior strength and resistance to corrosion. They are bolted to both the frame and the roped edges of the fabric, creating a robust and strong connection.
3. Enhanced Load Distribution: The combination of flexible roping disperses loads more evenly throughout the end wall and the entire structure, reducing localized stress points and prolonging the lifespan of the fabric.
4. Weather Resistance: The roping system and anchoring points is designed to allow the shelter to withstand extreme weather conditions, ensuring that it remains watertight and intact even in harsh weather.
