In this 60ft/18m shipping container example, there are 8 steel posts supporting the eaves rail. We highly recommend sinking concrete piers for each post, at a minimum diameter of 450mm and a minimum depth of 900-1200mm. Refer to your local building codes for the correct pier depth.
